At Airasia S we focus on the vacation packages for youth which provide low cost fare for students to have a vacation on their own budget. Airasia S was establish in 2012 in line with the government programme to promote our tourism industry while providing an opportunity to all Malaysian youth to get to know more about their country.
AirAsia S’s efficient and reliable operations are fully licensed and monitored by Malaysian and international regulators, and adhere to full international standards.
In Airasia S, we provide a package for group vacation or personal student vacation package. We also will guide them to other promotion package related such as hotel, car rental, transportation, tour guide and more.


TARGET MARKET
            Our target market cover the ages of full time students which is from 18 to 30 years old.  The students can benefit from this new service from Air Asia Sdn. Bhd.  Why the students have become the target group for this new service?  As we can see, students consist of clusters that are not afforded in term of financial.  Many of students who originated from Sabah and Sarawak come to Peninsular Malaysia to pursue their studies and vice versa.  Due to the high price ticket, they seldom get the chance to go back to their hometown.   Yet, at their young age there lots of places that they want to explore and seek experience.  Apart from that, students are required to go outside the field for their projects.  However, the cost has become the main problem for them to fly over the distance.  By launching the new service, students now can enjoy to fly wherever they want either for the purpose of study or holiday.  It’s now offering them the chance to learn something new in the different part of the world.  Hence, we are offering the most valuable service for them to fly across the globe.  It is an effort to set low-cost flying for people who are currently underserved with poor connectivity and high fares, “now everyone can fly”.

            Being aware of the competition, Air Asia had come out with new service which namely Air Asia S.  It is sound pretty similar like their previous services, Air Asia X, but this Air Asia S is focused on the youth especially students.  The S is stand for students.  Based on the research and survey that Air Asia had conducted, most of the people asked for a special student price.  For a company that always tried to fulfill consumers need like Air Asia, they think that they have to do something about this problem.  This is one of the reasons Air Asia came up with this brilliant service.  

But Air Asia S terms and condition for those who wanted to use the Air Asia S service applied whereby students who wanted to book tickets have to show or key in the identification number written on the student card.  In order to access student’s information, Air Asia has collaborated with the entire higher learning institute in Malaysia for the access of their student information.  In order to market this new service out, Air Asia Sdn Bhd had hired us, EL Classico Public Relations to be their consultant agency to promote the new service to the public and make people aware of the new service.  We have highlighted our objectives and target market for this service.
